Designed as a supplementary training option, RAP’s ARTISTIC MENTORSHIP PROGRAM, offers monthly workshop classes to BC Dance students, who aspire to study Contemporary and Neo-classical dance, at a pre-professional level!

ABOUT:

CONNECT WITH YOUR LOCAL, PROFESSIONAL DANCE COMMUNITY!

Reforming Art’s ARTISTIC MENTORSHIP WORKSHOP CLASSES, are a supplementary training option, for INT/ADV level dance students, who are interested in studying both Contemporary and Neo-classical dance, at a pre-professional level.

Students can expect to receive monthly training in:

  • TECHNICAL CLASSES: (Ballet (AAB National Curriculum), Contemporary Technique, Pointe Work, Modern Technique

  • INDUSTRY MASTERCLASS: Students will have the opportunity to work with both professional working dance artists and master teachers from within BC’s professional dance community. These masterclasses aim to provide students with exposure to what a career in Contemporary dance could look like, while also providing students with the opportunity to network and learn from the professional dance community!

  • ARTISTIC MENTORSHIP: A block designed to help students maintain both their mental and emotional well-being, while also receiving guidance and feedback that will support them, as they build their chosen career path. ** ** Students will have the opportunity to participate in Artist Talks, Q + A Sessions, Resume Building Workshops, Career Planning projects, Audition Preparation, while also learning about various artistic resources and scholarship programs available to BC YOUTH.

Designed to not replace or interfere with your studio training, RAP will offer workshop classes ONCE A MONTH, for BC dance students, located in the Lower Mainland area.
